Sizzle, but not steak ...

Kerry may have won on style ... but the value of style was diminished on 11 September 2001.

People are more thoughtful now, than in the past ... and consider substance, not just style. They also go into the voting booth with a better defined set of prorities ... and an awareness of the history of both the candidate and the people behind him -- a history that does profoundly affect future performance.

I could be wrong, but the Dems may be in for a repeat of 2002.
